Multidisciplinary care
Good cancer care is collaborative. Depending on the diagnosis, planning may involve specialist radiology, pathology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, genetics, fertility expertise and supportive care.
Surgical planning
The operation, if needed, depends on diagnosis, stage, health, fertility priorities and the safest route of surgery. Minimally invasive or robotic-assisted surgery may suit selected cases; open surgery remains necessary in others.
Clinical review
This newly drafted patient information requires Dr Amber Aggrwal's review. It does not diagnose cancer or recommend a personal treatment plan.
